Happy St. Patrick's Day! See how the royals are celebrating

The Duchess of Cambridge, god love her, frequently proves her relatability to the world by repeating outfits in spite of her access to, well, probably any piece of clothing her heart would ever desire. Today's getup for St. Patrick's Day is a bit of an exception—and given how fantastic she looks, we applaud her decision to change things up. Though she stuck with the same forest green scheme, Kate traded the Emilia Wickstead coat dress that she wore in 2012 and 2013 (both seen above; note the small baby bump in 2013) for a double-breasted Hobbs wool coat ( which covered her knees, thank goodness), along with a fascinator by Gina Foster. However, there was one repeat element: The Duchess' pin of cascading shamrocks. We'd normally raise an eyebrow at a brooch that looks like it's made of moss, but today, we're all for it. Because, tradition—and St. Patty's! Even the honorary dog who joined the festivities (an Irish Wolfhound, natch) was adorned in the greenery. That gold shamrock is also a repeat- offender—and not just for Kate. The Queen Mother and Princess Anne have also worn the Cartier pin for the holiday in the past.
