Everyone complaining about the cold,
please take a look at Alexander
Skarsgård . That's the True Blood actor
sitting fully naked, calmly reading a
book on the toilet in the SOUTH POLE.
In what was reportedly -30 degrees
Celsius. Sheesh. And we thought we'd
go far for our Instagram accounts.
The picture's funny (obviously) and we
love Skarsgård's laidback attitude
towards nudity—on Conan last year he
said that he grew up around hippies
who never wore pants , so he's super
comfortable with the whole thing. But
there's also something somewhat
serious about the stunt to love, too,
because the 37-year-old Scandinavian
isn't just visiting Antarctica for shits
and giggles (literally, in this case?).
Instead, he's there to raise money for
Walking With the Wounded, a UK
charity that helps wounded soldiers.
And a photo like this seems like a
pretty good way to get everyone's
attention, no?
