eyonce and Jay Z Release a Statement Following Solange Met Gala Incident

Beyonce and Jay Z Release a Statement Following Solange Met Gala Incident e've all seen the video TMZ released Monday showing Solange Knowles attack Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel following the Met Gala last week, and we've all speculated as to what caused the incident. Today, Beyonce and Jay Z released a statement to the AP to explain that they're "moving on" from the event. The statement reads: "As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it...Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family." In response to reports that Solange was drunk when the fight occurred, the couple adds: "The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same." Solange has reportedly been home in New Orleans since the Met Gala, but she did attend Kelly Rowland's wedding this past weekend along with her sister. She also shared a touching Throwback Thursday photo of her and Beyonce on Instagram today:
