Tip off your husband or a friend and proceed to the kitchen together, where you become intensely busy preparing more drinks. The presence of your protector hovering over you will discourage the amorous advances of your husband's boss; if it doesn't, tell your husband to look for another job at once. A new friend sends you a gorgeous bouquet to display at your party that evening, but you're allergic to flowers. What do you do? Hail a taxi and tell the driver to bring the flowers to the nearest hospital. Tell your friend that you sent them there because they were so magnificent and that they'll shed light and joy on many people. When you meet for lunch, you notice that your friend never pays half the bill. The last time you met up in a group, she paid even less. How do you call her on it? Your friend needs a simple lesson in math, so you can be the one to give it to her. Carefully divide the bill up into equal parts and announce to one and all what each person's share is. If she still shortchanges you, only meet her for breakfast at a very inexpensive fast-food joint -- she just might catch on. Your friend is a fashion victim with a tendency to throw all the season's trends into the mix. When you go out with her, people stare and snicker. How can you steer her toward a more stylish look? 1. Dull tools
“It's not uncommon to use an eye pencil that's
dull more often than not,” says Jarman. That
means you won’t be creating a clean, perfected
line when your sweep across. “Simply keep a
pencil sharpener in your bag and make a habit
of sharpening your pencil as need be.” Jarman
suggests every 2-3 makeup applications.

2. Skipping the shadow
Does you eyeliner ever smudge or transfer up
your lids? You must have skipped your eye
shadow step. “Even when it's placed tightly to
your lash line, you may notice those nasty
transfers to your lids,” says Jarman. “Usually
the transfer isn't seen with your eyes open,
but every time you look down the transfer is
visible.” It’s all because the natural oils on
your eyelids causes the liner to move. “This
can be easily prevented by simply
remembering to apply a shadow or face
powder to the eye lids first.” Take it further by
prepping lids with primer before shadow.
NOTE: Using waterproof pencils will last longer
before a transfer but even then your eyelid
oils can break that down.

3. Not removing all of your eyeliner
“We use eyeliner to rim the inside and outside
of our lash lines,” says Jarman. “Removing this
type of eye makeup can sometimes be
challenging.” Here are Jarmon’s tips for making
sure you remove all that makeup and liner
residue.
- “Apply makeup remover on a cotton pad and
place directly over your eye. Hold for 5-10
seconds allowing the remover to absorbs into
makeup before wiping. Repeat this step 2-3
times depending on the intensity of your eye
makeup.”
- “Try not to pull the cotton pad down along
your cheek. This will only move your dark eye
make up from zone A to B, creating a bigger
mess to clean.”
- “Q-tips are the perfect applicator for
wiggling tightly and precisely through the root
of your lashes for that final clean up.”
4. Eyeliner gaps
“Mascara isn't the only product you should
apply starting at the root of your lashes, be
sure to do this with your eyeliner as well,” says
Jarman. Otherwise you could end up with a
slight gap between your lashes and the liner –
especially fair-haired women.

5. Nix the hard pencils
“The softer your pencil is, the easier the
application will be,” advises Jarman. “It's rare
to find an eye pencil on the market today that
won't apply smoothly or isn't soft. And if you
happen to have an old pencil in your makeup
bag that's difficult to apply, it's time to toss it
in the trash!” A soft pencil will create a clean,
straight line, but can also be easily smudged
into a smoky eye. “You will find brighter,
bolder and more impactful finishes with the
newer eye liner formulas out there,” says
Jarman.

First he unveiled his own record label, then he dropped a couple of chart topping singles, got signed on to a new record label, acquired a new car and he’s preparing to drop his elusive debut album in November 2014. According to NET, the real story of his success is a new mouthwatering record deal he just signed with Baseline Records. The first advantage of his deal is the fact that despite being signed on to Baseline, led by industry veterans Howie T and Dipo Abdul, Skales gets to still maintain control and leadership of his own label OHK records, where he nurtures and grooms fast rising acts and producers. And we’ve been reliably told his Baseline deal is worth nearly N200m. Life is all about making choices and hoping they are the right ones! When we are very young our choices are limited, as, usually, our parents make many of them for us. However, as we get older we have more decisions to make for ourselves and the choices become more important. Making good choices can be difficult and sometimes, making a bad choice can stay with us for the rest of our lives.

In relationships, there are all sort of choices: “Shall I ask her/him out?” “Should I go out with him/her?”  “Should I have sex with this partner?” “Should I use a condom?”  “Should we live together/ get married/ have children or should I end the relationship?” Most of us don’t believe we can see into the future, so it is difficult to know how important each decision will prove to be in the great scheme of things, or what will happen if we do or if we don’t do something. Debby Ryan's Sneaky Side Braid Is Your New End-of-Summer Obsession

If you thought you were done with braids for the Summer, think again. Just when we're pretty sure that the world has exhausted how many ways to twist, knot, and weave hair, a celebrity comes along and blows us away with a pretty creative plait. Debby Ryan stepped out this week with a hairstyle that looked like ordinary beach-goddess waves at first glance — until she turned to the side, revealing a half braid. (Image courtesy of Instagram.com/ AliciaKeys) July 31 is a big day in the Keys house: not only is it Alicia and her husband Swizz Beatz anniversary, it’s also apparently a day to dress up in all white, get barefoot, have a photoshoot, and then use that pic to announce your second pregnancy on Instagram. The “Girl On Fire” singer gave her social media following a twofer early this morning, wrapping a big baby announcement inside a very sweet anniversary tribute to her spouse of 4 years (there were also emojis). Keys, 33, and Swizz have a son, Egypt, who’s 3. Congrats everybody!
